This album was inspired by the 80s Minneapolis Funk sound. in particular bands like Mazarati, The Family, The Time and other bands manufactured by Prince.

Princes music for the movie 'Batman' really stuck with me when I saw it as a 6 year old back in 1989. his use of voice playing bass lines, knocking drum sounds and rough samples have been an influence to me so I wanted to put something together resembling my love for this type of music.

I wrote these tracks over the course of the last three years and felt I needed to release them when the time was right. Everything was programmed, recorded, mixed, mastered and performed by myself except for Saxophone on 'Crushed' performed by 'Zack Barrett'.
